Hello again YouTubes, potentially for the last time? I've changed this description three or so times since this was uploaded, the first description saying that I was done making videos for good, the second saying that I was just gonna make them infrequently, but I don't really think either of those are that accurate. The day I uploaded this video marked the 2,500th day exactly after my first upload, and as of writing, in only a couple weeks it'll be six years since I started making videos. Yeah, I've been making videos for about as long as PewDiePie has, and as you can tell by just the views on this video: sans the success, haha. I love making videos, it's my absolute favorite thing to do; it was never about the views or success, in fact I actually worried that if I started growing I'd get too popular and lose the personal connection that was such an important thing to me. The entire reason why I started making videos in the first place and why I kept making them even after six years of... lackluster results, was to make people happy! I know how powerful of a force for good YouTubers can be for people, and I wanted to do the same, but I can count on my hands how many of you I know I've actually touched in some way. (Which I don't mean to devalue! - I'm so glad I could affect some of you in a positive way!) My videos take a lot of effort to make: on average 8-10 hours of editing + ~an hour of filming per video, and a lot of money on equipment and software. I've averaged around 50 views per video since late 2012, and honestly if all of those views were people that were affected positively by my content, I would have no problem continuing - but they're just not, unfortunately. It's gotten to a point where I just don't think it's really worth it anymore? I still love making videos, but I just can't do them if I'm just gonna be doing them for myself.
