Initial impressions after 20+ hours of gameplay, focusing on exploration, roleplaying, and questing -- with a bit of PvP and crafting mixed in.

The lore and world are intertwined in a coherent and consistent way. The graphics -- albeit quite dated -- utilize color and textures to create some beautiful landscapes. Lots of world to explore with only an occasional loading screen. The fight between the horde and alliance feels real, given object placement, NPCs, and the world's general layout.

This game provides opportunities for a wide variety of gaming styles, which does occasionally cause conflict. Pure RPers often get frustrated when names like "ThePoopMachine" show up on an RP-PVP server. A few people were even mocking RP on Grobbolous -- the RP-PvP server.

The population is quite large, which means lots of undesirables. It also means lots of really helpful and great people to play the game with as well. Go it alone or find a group with similar interests and playstyle and you'll enjoy your experience with this title.
